Customer Review: I’ve got TWO.
I have two of them and love both. One I use for my personal computing. The other is the hub for our home network storing movies and what not on two ext. Hard drives.

The network computer did make a lot of noise when we first got it. I never opened it and figured it was the hard drive. I guess I was wrong. Anyway, that noise has pretty much stopped and the machine is still running fine. My personal computer doesn’t make a sound.

The only problem I’ve had is hooking the Network comp. to our big TV to watch movies. I get the picture, but no sound through the HDMI hook up. I’m guessing I have something set wrong. Then again, it could be the graphics card, but I’m considering upgrading anyway so that isn’t a big issue. It work okay on the LC 19 inch monitor with it.

I would recommend the computer, but know what others have said.

Customer Review: Too many problems for being so expensive
Ok I bought this computer in June of ‘08. My video card started making a noise almost a month after purchasing it. Mine came with the Nvidia GEForce 9500 GS. Recently the noise became almost unbearably loud - so I did some research online to seee if this was a common problem with this graphics card. Obviously, it’s happening to many people who bought this computer. I called customer service a few days ago and just got my replacement card - but it’s not the Nvidia GEForce 9500 GS - it’s the Seaking D9M-25 GF9500GS. After reading a review on here that stated that the SEaking card does the same thing as the Nvidia card, I’m not sure whether or not to install it - since I don’t know if this card works as well as the Nvidia one. I also have problem with internet explorer shutting down out of nowhere. Sheesh! I think it’s ridiculous to have to go through all this hassle for a new, supposedly top-of-the-line computer. I won’t be buying an HP again… Buy Now
