When using this battery, my laptop, a DV8225NR, goes up to 100% CPU. The cursor freezes and the system is unusable. Sometimes the entire laptop freezes. Now when I reconnect the AC adapter, after a minute or so everything returns to normal. Why is this happening?

Also, when the laptop is plugged in, and it is 100% charged, there are times when I see the ‘charge’ LED on the laptop come on and tell me the laptop is charging when in fact it was already 100%.

These problems happen in both Vista and XP, and *important*…does not happen with the older battery that came with my laptop (which now only gets 30 mins of time). So I’m forced to use the older battery.
